Perspectiversial by Laurin Schuler
I designed and built this sculptural set as a part of @laurinschuler ’s show where he presented his (spectacular) second collection. The pieces created an environment for a live editorial shoot designed to give the guests an insight into a process that usually takes place behind closed doors. Inspiration was drawn from unfinished buildings, 80’s retail design, a pop-up store by a designer who’s name I can’t remember at the time of writing and my excitement at architectural arches making a long overdue comeback. The intention was to create a set that underscored the architectural elements of the looks whilst not distracting from the delicate play of light that make Laurin’s tulle pieces so memorable.
